Hello, my name is Heidi, and I'm an overeater.
This is my most recent full-length picture, taken at Halloween (no, I don't wear antennae as a normal accessory, although if Emily had her way I would...) I've been struggling to get in shape, but I happen to be an optimist. This is working against me in that when I have exercised or lost a few pounds, I'll think of how great I'm doing and reward myself by slacking off. Hm. Not too smart, right? The intellectual side of my brain knows all the right things to do to eat nutritiously and stay in shape, but it's the emotional side of my brain that tells me that eating another bowl of cereal will make me feel good. So my intellect and emotions are in an epic battle, the results of which are updated weekly on my bathroom scale.
So in an effort to end the war, I am attempting to have peace talks between the two sides of my brain, get everyone on the same page, and hopefully make some real progress in my goal to become more healthy.
So let's get together and share our experiences, ideas, resources, recipes, and fun random stuff to encourage having a healthy lifestyle!

YAY!!! I am so on board with you guys! My name is Megan, and I'm an overeater. Whew, that's hard to put out there. I've been in a funk lately and I hope this will help! ;o)
What a wonderful idea! I love it! I'm Heather and I like Dr. Pepper way too much. I was so disciplined when I was working in an office but now that I'm working at home, it's way too easy to have "just one more." Of course you have to run for 35 minutes to burn off the calories in one can of soda. I do like running, but not that much. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's good ideas!

I love this idea! My name is Emily and I love food and I also love working out. I'm not sure if I love working out so I can eat extra or if I need to workout to burn off what I eat. It's a chicken and the egg thing. Anyway, I've had my weight fluctuate quite a bit over the years but right now I feel like it is in control. Let's hope I can keep it that way!

My name is Anna & I am one of THE most unhealthy eaters out there & it's making me tired..literally. I think if I had a well balanced diet..I would actually have some energy. HMMM..maybe I'll go eat a snickers. No, I promise to do better. But, I really need help!

My name is Erin I am a major eater. My husband and I would really like to challenge any married couple to an eating contest... we would totally beat anyone! I have recently run a marathon, so I have been doing a lot of exercising and that really helps. I have some ideas, I will post when I learn how!
